When the generator is running, mechanical loss, copper loss, iron loss and other losses will occur. These losses are converted into heat. At the same time, when the heat taken away is equal to the heat lost, the temperature of each part of the generator will stabilize at a certain value.
When the load and cooling conditions of the generator change, the temperature of each part of the generator also changes. Purpose of temperature rise test
① The temperature rise test of the newly installed generator is to determine its load capacity and overload capacity to see if it meets the design and manufacturing requirements;
②Determine that the generator is within the allowable voltage fluctuation range and the temperature of the cooling medium is not at the same time, and provide the limit relationship curve of active and reactive power to provide the operating limit diagram of the generator;
③Determine the relationship between the average winding temperature, the high heating point temperature and the temperature of the thermometer to determine the monitoring of the temperature limit of the generator winding; ④ Perform temperature rise test on defective or improved output generators to determine reasonable output;
⑤ If you have any questions about the cooling system of the generator, please conduct a temperature rise test to verify its cooling efficiency, so as to provide a basis for maintenance and improvement of the ventilation system and cooling system.
